Parrot Jumping Sumo Robot is an acrobatic wheeled robot which is able to roll, rush, zig-zag and jump up to 80 cm high. Its three control modes make it able to jump, kick objects and auto balance itself like a segway.

Thanks to advanced control techniques applied, Parrot Jumping Sumo Robot is able to turn more precisely than a common two wheeled robot. Its adjustable wheels also add stability at high speeds by extracting and by retracting it gains agility and becomes able to move in narrow places. The adjustable wheels also make it possible to move on perfectly straight lines. With its inertial unit Parrot Jumping Sumo Robot can perform half and u-turns in less than a second.

It can be controlled with a smart phone or a tablet via a free app called FreeFlight 3. The application connects to Jumping Sumo through Wi-Fi and it is compatible with devices running iOS, Android and Windows Phone. Depending on the pilot’s driving style Parrot Jumping Sumo Robot expresses his mood with customizable sound animations. The application also lets you sequence the acrobatics that the Jumping Sumo can perform.

The embedded wide angle camera streams live immersive views on the piloting screen. You can discover the world at the height of your Jumping Sumo and explore inaccessible areas.
