With Robotpark MF-70 CNC Kit you can convert your standard MF-70 micro milling machine to a computer controlled CNC milling machine and process your parts much more quickly and precisely. You can even create your own PCBs on a copper plate. You can check the original kit using this link.
Robotpark MF-70 CNC Kit simply consists of two sub systems. First sub system which is called mechanical system is used to mechanically convert the control method of micro milling machine from standard hand wheels to step motors. Second sub system which is called electronical system is used to convert the CNC commands called G-codes to signals suitable for the steppers and control the steppers electrically. Due to that distinction between these two subsystems the mechanical parts and the electronical parts of the original kit can be purchased separately.
Mechanical parts (which constitute the mechanical sub system of Robotpark MF-70 CNC Kit) consist of NEMA23 stepper motors (1 for each axis, 3 in total), stainless steel and aluminum motor holder and mechanical connection parts (different for each axis) and aluminum flex coupler (1 for each axis, 3 in total). The NEMA23 steppers in this kit come unchanged unlike the steppers in the kit. The reason for this is to allow the user to customize the motor cable lengths suitable for his/her electronical system. The parts other than the steppers are sent completely identical to the original kit.
