MAX30100 Heart Rate and Heart Rate Sensor Module
This product handles Maxim's MAX30100 integrated pulse oximetry and heart rate sensor. The readings are an optical sensor from two LEDs (red and infrared) emitting light of two wavelengths, and then measures absorption in the bloodstream against a photodetector.
This special LED color combination is optimized to read the data from the fingertip. The signal is processed by a low-noise analog signal processing unit and transmitted to the target MCU via the microBUS I2C interface. Developers of end-user applications should be aware that readings can be negatively affected by excessive movement and temperature changes. In addition, too much pressure may limit capillary blood flow and thus reduce the safety of the data. A programmable INT pin is also available.
It uses a 3.3V power supply.
